Mildred's lives up to the hype! I'm not really an egg eater, but the steamed eggs in the sandwich were so incredibly light and airy and wonderful to eat. The quiche was so flavorful - you could definitely taste the spinach, cheese, and egg in every bite. I love chai tea, and theirs can be made iced. It's definitely a flavorful, cinnamon chai. I also took the veggie chili to go for lunch. I personally could have used more heat to it, but everyone's personal preference is different.
Also, the person who took my order was so friendly and positive, and I really appreciated that so early in the morning! -

This is a nice coffee/sandwich shop nestled in the heart of the Crossroads (they also have a location further up Main Street with a more limited menu).
It's right down the street from my office so I frequently come here for lunch or a quick breakfast pastry.
Their sandwiches are perfectly fine, if a little overpriced. I could do without all the potato chips they serve alongside them, I'd rather have a pickle or a salad of some sort.
Where they really shine are their pastries. I absolutely love their chocolate chip banana bread as well as their cinnamon rolls. Their blueberry muffins are also delicious. -

Loved my first time there and now have yet another excuse to visit KC whenever I can. The entire layout was stylish and clean. Employees were nice, I didn't have to wait terribly long for me to-go order, and the menu has a wide variety of offerings.
I got the special for that day - a veggie sandwich on sourdough - along with chips, a massive gluten free peanut butter cookie, and an iced tea. Grabbed a cookie and coffee for a co-worker as well and we both loved all of it.
Would definitely go back. Hoping I don't have to wait another year to be in KC again. -

Wow! Mildred's was such a great experience. The atmosphere, staff , food and especially their coffee!
-- win win situation! The place is very airy and aesthetically pleasing with plenty of seatings. They have great salads and sandwiches options. I love their iced caramel latte with oat milk, so refreshing! Their service is quick and friendly, prices are very reasonable. Barista that took my order was very informative. I will be back for more!! -

This is a great coffeehouse. Nice coffee with lots of variations. It is big and spacious. Full menu. I just had a vanilla latte but y brother ordered an amazing breakfast sandwich that really made me want to order one but I knew lunch was a heartbeat away. I will definitely revisit Mildred's and order food.
